Pipeink · Material Intelligence

Material intelligencefor piping isometrics.

Pipeink reads piping isometric drawings and writes back a reviewable bill of materials. Built for fabricators, drawn for reviewers.

01What it does3 propositions

Every piping spool starts as a drawing.

The isometric is the contract: a hand-drafted or CAD-rendered 3D sketch, dimensioned and balloon-numbered, with a title block and a revision letter. Today, turning that drawing into a fabrication-ready bill of materials takes hours of manual transcription per sheet — hours that compound across a project of dozens or hundreds of spools.

Pipeink reads the drawing in minutes — and shows its work, line by line, balloon by balloon, zone by zone. The fabricator stays in command of every line that leaves the building.

1Read the drawing the way a fabricator reads it — by zone, by mark, by spool.
2Treat every extracted line as a measurement, never a guess. Confidence is a dimension, not a colour.
3Keep the human in command. The keyboard is faster than any cursor; the only red on the sheet is one a person needs to see.
02How it works4 stages

Upload, extract, review, export.

Upload

Drop in ISO PDFs.

Pipeink accepts ASME Y14.5 isometrics, P&IDs, and spool sheets — single sheets or multi-sheet packages. No template required.

Extract

Read line by line.

Every piece-mark gets a balloon. Every dimension a string. Every line a confidence — measured, not asserted.

Review

Confirm in keystrokes.

Step through extracted rows from a single keyboard. Edit inline. Redline anything that needs a person.

Export

Hand off ready-to-fabricate tables.

CSV, XLSX, or your shop-internal template. Every cell is traceable back to its sheet zone, balloon, and source dimension.

A working review console, not a black-box API.

Each row below is a real capability of the Pipeink console — drawn the same way the console itself draws a flange, a weld, or a redline. Open the console to see them in action; come back here to compare.
